Know your options under the No Child Left Behind
Act for children in public schools that are SINI schools, or Schools In Need
of Improvement. Parents of children in public schools designated as SINI schools
can choose to apply to attend another public school in the district that is
not a SINI school, or may apply to receive Supplemental Educational Services
(SES) in the form of free tutoring. School Choice with Transportation is offered
to those students attending eligible schools each spring and/or summer for the
next school year, and SES tutoring is offered at the beginning of each school
year to those students attending eligible schools who also receive free or reduced
lunch.

The Title I office is still accepting SES tutoring applications for students who qualify for free/reduced lunch. Students are prioritized to receive the free tutoring based upon academic need and a review of their past test and retention history.
