Students enrolled in the Career Education Programs in Levy County have the opportunity to earn the Florida Ready to Work Credential.  Ready to Work is a credentialing program that tests – and scores – job skills and work habits.  Students are enrolled in the program by their Career and Technical Education Instructor (CTE).  Once enrolled, students use the courseware to prepare for the assessments.  Students are required to take an assessment in Applied Math, Locating Information, and Reading for Information and score a level 4 or higher in order to earn a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Credential from the state.

Florida Ready to Work is sponsored and funded by the State of Florida.  The program is administered by the Florida Department of Education in partnership with the Florida Agency for Workforce Innovation.
